Booking at Pinch & Prod

When booking an appointment at Pinch & Prod, you agree to our policies outlined below.

If Pinch & Prod are not available to carry out your treatment(s) through circumstances beyond their control, Pinch & Prod reserve the right to transfer the booking to an alternative date or cancel the booking.

Advanced treatments will not be carried out on your first treatment at Pinch & Prod. A tailored facial will be performed in order to assess the skin and pre-condition the skin if advanced treatments are required.

Booking

You will be asked to enter your card details in order to confirm your booking. These will not be charged unless you cancel within 48hrs of your appointment or you fail to show up.

Please advise Pinch & Prod of any health conditions, allergies, pregnancy or special needs when booking your treatments as some treatments are not recommended for certain conditions. We do perform treatments when cold sores are present.

If you have received advanced procedures, such as injectables, peels, microblading etc., you must wait at least two weeks before any facial treatment can be performed.

Cancellations/Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason within 48hrs of your appointment, this will result in 50% of the treatment cost being charged. Cancelling or rescheduling for any reason within 24hrs of your appointment will result in 100% of the treatment cost being charged. If you cancel three times consecutively, you will not be able to rebook. All cancellations must be acknowledged by Pinch & Prod.

Please note that if you are pregnant, treatments can only take place post-12 weeks of pregnancy. Treatments cannot take place if you have an active coldsore.

If you have had a cosmetic procedure, such as fillers and botox, within 14 days of your treatment and we are only made aware within 48 hours of your treatment, you will be charged the cancellation fees.

No Show

If you fail to show up for your appointment without communication, your captured card will be charged 100% of the treatment cost and no future bookings will be accepted.

Running Late

If you are late, this may result in your appointment being shortened, with the full treatment cost still being incurred or even rescheduled.

Silent Appointment

If you would like a silent appointment, just let me know in the ‘comments’ box when booking online or pop me a message. I can focus on your treatment while you relax and take time-out from everyday life with no pressure of having to make conversation. No judgement and no questions asked.

Payment

Cards and cash accepted. If paying in cash please bring the exact amount.

Patch Testing

A patch test may be required five days prior to your treatment to ensure you don't suffer a reaction.

Gift Cards

Valid for six months. Cannot be redeemed or replaced after their expiry date. All gift cards and e-vouchers are non-refundable, can only be redeemed against treatments and cannot be exchanged for cash. They are not valid with any other offer at Pinch & Prod and must be used by one person in one visit. Pinch & Prod is not responsible for replacing lost/stolen/expired vouchers. Gift cards can be collected or delivered for a fee.

Discounts/Promotions

Discount/promotions can only be used on singular, full-priced treatments. They are not valid with any other offer, product or treatment course. 

Refunds

Pinch & Prod do not offer refunds for any completed services, however, if you are in any way dissatisfied with any aspect of your experience, please contact Pinch & Prod as soon as possible and we will do our best to satisfy. 

Products

We accept returns for products within seven days of purchase as long as it is unopened and unused. A proof of purchase is required. Please note that Pinch & Prod, nor the therapist, are responsible for potential adverse reactions due to the use of manufacturer products. Products are recommended and are used at the clients discretion.

Health & Safety

The safety and well-being of Pinch & Prod’s clients are of top priority, which is why Pinch & Prod maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the clinic. Minors and pets are now allowed in the clinic. 

Right to refuse service.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. 

Policy changes

Pinch & Prod have the right to make changes to these policies. Therefore, we recommend that you check these policies regularly.

Rights of Pinch & Prod

Pinch & Prod reserve the right to change treatment prices at any time in order to stay relevant and up to date within our industry, as well as stay in accordance with the current climate. This means that when suppliers increase cost, Pinch & Prod must also make necessary increases where needed. Pinch & Prod also reserve the right to remove or make changes to the treatment list as required.

Privacy

Prior to your first appointment and any new treatment, you will be asked to complete a consultation form to ensure your treatment can be carried out safely. Please let Pinch & Prod know if there are any changes to your medical history.
 

Pinch & Prod collects these forms through a third party software called Timely. Timely maintain these records for your safety, as any health or medical conditions may indicate that a particular service or treatment should not go ahead (e.g. allergies, pregnancy, skin conditions) or a particular product should not be used (e.g. products containing nuts, fish oil). These health records are not used for any other purpose. Client records are held securely within our clinic software system and can only be seen by Pinch & Prod.

Pinch & Prod will treat all your Personal Information as confidential. Pinch & Prod will keep it on a secure server and will fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and consumer legislation.

Security

Pinch & Prod is a private, self-contained clinic offering advanced skin treatments. Working security cameras are set up on the premises. Should the authorities require footage, Pinch & Prod have an obligation to provide that of which is requested.
